LLC Cosmetic was founded by Dr Diana after experiencing painful burns from other clinics herself as a patient. As a Physicist she looked into standards and committed to start a business where patients are treated safely and effectively with the industry’s best equipment.
Specialising in everything from skin rejuvenation, anti-wrinkle treatments or scar removal, LLC Cosmetics has become one of Queenslands leading laser clinics, with hundreds of raving customers and clinics in both Brisbane & Lawnton. Their Dermal Staff are a team of highly trained Doctors, Nurses, Dermal Therapists and a Medical Physicist. With their passion for helping people and expertise in skincare, they strive to achieve the best possible results, ensuring optimal skin health and enhancing the well-being of their valued clients.
After being burned by their current agency, the founders of LLC approached Defiant to discuss making the switch to an expert level creative performance agency. Their current agency simply weren’t capable or experienced enough to grow their business and results were poor.
LLC put in their notice with their agency and we kicked off our onboarding phase. But then disaster struck, their agency deleted all of their ads and we found out that LLC had no access to their ad account as the previous agency set it up on their behalf and was witholding it. That didn’t stop us from delivering an exceptional result.

When a rogue agency deletes your ads and holds you for ransom, that can usually mean massive disruptions for your business. Luckily LLC found us when they did, but the odds were stacked against us.
We had no time to waste, the clinic had just had it’s Meta ad account deleted and we needed to move FAST in order to get bookings coming through while we were completing our onboarding phase.

Key Learnings: Don’t over complicate your strategy, simple and consolidated is almost always the best approach. We focused on the offer and allowed Meta’s algorithm to do the heavy lifting in finding us the right prospects. Within days the ads were optimised and driving results well below our clients CPL target.
Although the site was informative, it was hard to navigate with a confusing path for anyone looking to book a treatment. We made instant suggestions to improve the booking flow and LLC’s team took those onboard and implemented them quickly.
By cutting down the steps it took for someone to select a treatment and confirm their details, we noticed an immediate uplift in bookings and a decrease in the cost per booking. Since implementing the simplified booking process, cost per lead has maintained at below target while we have scaled budgets.
Key Learnings: Think of your website as a physical shopping experience. Imagine walking into a store with broken glass and fire between you and the cashier – all of that friction would probably cause you to walk out right? Same goes for websites with lots of friction, slow load times and confusing navigation. By putting yourself in the customer’s shoes you can quickly spot areas to improve usability and this can directly impact the performance of your campaigns outside of ads.
We knew that SEO was going to be an important channel for LLC as alot of people would look to Google with intent based searches. Showing up for keywords like hifu brisbane and Laser Clinics Lawnton were money terms for LLC and although we had Google ads optimised for all their target keywords, we knew that over 80% of people skip Google ads and click on organic listings.
Building off-page authority was the first place we started for LLC, securing them over 625 high quality backlinks in the 90 days of working on their SEO. This resulted in a 332% increase in ranking positions and a 41% increase in organic traffic, making organic search their 2nd highest traffic source above paid search.
Key Learnings: For local service based businesses like LLC, ranking high for your local terms is a licence to print money. People are actively searching for the best solutions and services in their local area, and if you’re not high on page 1, then you’re in no man’s land. Being on page 1 of Google for relevant terms is like owning a shop front in the heart of the CBD with foot traffic day in day out.
