Muscle Fuel are the largest pre-made meal business in New Zealand and have been running for over 7 years, servicing their clients with healthy, affordable meal options. Their business model was solid, but they completely lacked any form of strategy with their advertising & previous agencies were unable to deliver a return on investment in their campaigns. 

ROAS was sitting at 0.57x on a minimal ad spend & the Muscle Fuel team decided to take their marketing in-house to save cost and take on the responsibility themselves.

As one of New Zealand’s fastest growing companies, Muscle Fuel we’re going to accept nothing but the best performance and return on investment with their campaigns. The plan was to roll-out their brand new Keto subscription for the first time and scale it to 6+ figures within 90 days. 

They also needed a complete refresh of their creatives for their 4 main channels in the business. Ads that would stop the scroll and get people to click and convert into high paying subscribers.

Within 30 days, Defiant Digital had doubled the monthly revenue of Muscle Fuel. Their store traffic increased by 60%, but their conversion rate also increased by 41% despite the increase in traffic. 

Our new creatives lifted ROAS from 0.57 to 3.68x on a high 5 figure ad spend. This resulted in over 1200 new customers on a 8 week subscription which was compounding week on week.

Milky Lane had shown Australian hospitality venues how to crush social media, organically. Their engagement stats put them up there with the biggest brands in the world such as McDonalds & KFC, but they had no system to consistently turn those engagement stats into bookings.

The team was aware of the rise of AR filters but had never taken the leap to create one for their brand.

The brief was to create 2 highly engaging filters for Camilla’s most popular headpieces and the measure of success was the reach and engagement with their filters. Success was critical as it was their first step into the AR world and they needed to make a big impact.

Trucks direct were a small, suburban business who had a non existent marketing strategy. Most sales were trickling through via truck listing sites & personal connections, but the business had never once tried to leverage social media. 

Their website was barely usable, social media content non-existent & the word “pixel” was something completely foreign to them. It was ground zero when they approached us and they needed a 360 solution to help them come out of the dark ages.

Boxabl were looking to raise funds for their kick-starter campaign & had 3 months to achieve their target. At the time of meeting with them, they had generated some virality with features from Yahoo finance that went viral, however they had no paid media strategy to drive sales & generate revenue.

Their ads strategy consisted of boosting posts of their 3D renders with engagement campaigns, but they needed a rock-solid paid media strategy that would be able to demonstrate clear ROI.

Our mission was to build Boxabl’s online advertising framework and help them hit their target kickstarter revenue within 90 days. This would require atleast a 3X ROAS to be achieved over the course of the campaign.
